My 3rd week in London! Now realise that earnings not enough for spending. Higher salary not enough to compensate for expenses.
I got a job, working as Estate Finance Analyst for Sainsbury's. Don't quite like the old system i..e old excel version and the accounting application Oracle in this case. Start missing my old days in Glasgow.
At first thought London is a shopping paradise. It is somehow, but, no sizes left. All sales items gone within seconds. Unlike Glasgow, sales items plenty waiting for you to buy. The tube is so busy with people. Sigh..
Very much like KL. Some places are dodgy, not safe, i.e. shooting, theft, buglary, assaults and etc. could happen. If you want a better/safer place to live then you got to pay more say GBP800 per month. Again, that would not be affordable to me.

Christmas is approaching. My office is getting colder and quiet. Many have already started taking leaves.
My Christmas plan this year would be
work as volunteer for vulnerable Children from Morning till afternoon.
and then back home for Christmas dinner with my landlord and her husband together we will have hotpot.
This Christmas is not like last year where I have Chen-Loong and my sister with me.

No turkey and present this Christmas. But I am not alone. I took part as volunteer helping out the event organised by the kids' company. I have been helping at the dessert corner. Worked as a waitress. It's a good learning though. I learned that most black community are live in poor. One of my Malaysian friend who have been staying in UK for 15 years told me that because of their family issues are critical therefore people have concern to help the less fortunate. Whereby, in Asia countries less family issues thus there isn't much volunteering work to do. I totally agree.
No more sale please !!! On Boxing day I went to Harrods to hunt for my Michael Kors bag. Tina and I queue as early as 9a.m and people already there waiting for the store open at 10a.m. Crazy! None discounted stuff I got because the one I like is new arrival. At last I bought that at original price. Sigh.
Been doing shopping a lot to prepare myself home. Things are so expensive in KL. Anyway, walking at the park isn't my interest at all in London. I think those few places always attract me are just shopping mall and not park. All my money gone...
